Kyrgyzstan - Ghost Princess Kurayami Rei Hime!

What quality do you like most about yourself and why?

There are a few qualities I like most about myself, I shall explain...

My hair, it reminds me of Mama, she has black hair sometimes when she is mad, and when she was on earth with me. It is red now; I'm not sure why her hair is red. But when I touch and feel my hair I feel like a part of Mama is always with me no matter where I am, I find that very comforting and knowing that part of her is there can help me to get through tough times, like the exams I have been taking, boy have they been tough!

My eyes, I have my Papa's eyes, that makes me feel like a part of him is with me always as well, his strength is inside me, I can look into the mirror and see him whenever I look at my eyes, a memory that will never fade. I would like to think that I am like him in some ways, always looking forward never back, always wanting to find a new adventure, some new discovery. My eyes keep the memories of him alive in my heart.

My gifts, they are a part of me; I can use them to help others that need to be helped, when someone gets hurt, or to keep myself safe from predators... I can also use them to get up to mischief, because I like to have fun, like that time that I was in that graveyard and those kids were playing with that Ouija board and I came floating down and scared them, I never seen children run so fast, it was soo funny.

Those are the things I love about me.

What is your definition of success?

Success is the achievement of something desired planned or attempted.
When you set yourself a goal to achieve something, it could be something small and simple like waking, or it could be something bigger like getting a degree, when you achieve that goal then you are successful.

Sometimes you may fail in attempts, but even so, you learn from your mistakes and I think that in itself is still a small success. I think ultimately for me, if you think about your life and if you were to die, if people will miss you and you have left an impact on peoples lives behind, then I think that you would have been successful. It is not for me about fame or fortune, but of what you do and who you surround yourself with.

If you love, then you have already succeeded.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

With Mama, because I couldn’t imagine being anywhere without her. And Papa because I miss him so much, he was so good to us. Oh yeah, and the rest of the family too. And all those brother and sisters I have in Dark Heavens, because I haven’t met them yet and have been an only child mostly, except for Sofia now. And where there is lots of cats and witchery happening. And lots of books, maybe a library would be good, or a big Castle with a library and the family and everything else I liked in it, and lots of friends, have to have lots of friends too, and someone to make me lots of clothes, but mainly Id like to live where Mama is.

What is your favourite colour and how do you feel when you wear it?

My most favourite colour is PINK! I especially love HOT PINK! it is such a vibrant and fun colour!

When I wear pink I feel beautiful, when I wear pink I am a princess, I am feminine, romantic, loving, sweet, childish, fun, I am many things when I wear pink.

Pink also reminds me of candies, flowers, babies, girls, of softly flowing dresses....

There are many shades of pink, and they can all give different feelings, but they are all wonderful feelings! Pink can make you feel great, you should try wearing it sometime; even boys can look great in pink!

How do you intend to promote greater understanding of your culture or nation? What is one thing you would like all the nations of the world to know about your nation?

The best way to have understanding of our culture is to show people how Kyrgyz live. To do this I would share examples of the kind of food we eat, though not great to show vegetarians, they would have to be shown the other parts of our culture as the basic Kyrgyz diet is rooted in centuries of living off the land. It generally consists of meat, bread and products made from milk. Animal parts that are not commonly eaten in western cultures are often cooked with the meat. Potatoes and vegetables may be included, but vegetables and fruit aren't a standard part of the meals.

I would tell people of the traditions in Kyrgyz, The Kyrgyz are a fascinating people with centuries-old traditions and their sense of ethnic loyalty is stronger than their national pride. for example, a Kyrgyz tribe is made up of clans whose members share a paternal ancestor. Young Kyrgyz are taught to respect their Parents and Grandparents and are expected to learn the names of everyone in their family for seven generations back! That is a lot of names to learn! It would be like learning all the names in Mama's Kastl! The tribal elders are responsible for keeping the genealogical information and passing it along to the new generation.

The rare gold and earth metals found in my country is very exciting for anyone who practices sorcery - Imagine, the potions one can whip up!. Not to mention the jewellery you could make.

By Viewing, tasting, and touching all the different diverse products we make, will help people to see, and experience, the differences in culture that we share.

Not many people know about my country, generally when I tell them where I am from or they ask, they simply have never heard of it. Most seem fascinated by the thought of all those mountains-(More than 6000 Mountain Glaciers can be found within the country’s borders) and century old customs.
