DENMARK

As a resin, there is a lot in Danish culture that I identify with completely, even though I was not raised in Denmark.

First, the Danes are described as being very informal in dealing with people. They also are well known for their lack of inhibitions about sex and nudity. Depending on our humans’ sewing ability or pocketbook, most resins spend a lot of time hanging around in the nude. We pose without embarrassment for body comparison shots that may end up visible to the whole Internet. We enjoy our beautiful bodies (unless our foot falls off) without restraint.

Denmark is also well-known for its legalization of pornography in 1965, and its pornographic movie industry. As members of a discussion group that constantly gets put in the ‘Adult’ category by Yahell, the Ryung/Soah resins need to be very aware of issues concerning pornography and freedom of speech. There is nothing wrong with our frequent mention of large breasts, small breasts, anatomical correctness and endowment or lack thereof, corsets, bodices, chains...we’re actually not sure what Yahell gets off on but whatever it is, we do it!

Another characteristic feature of Denmark is their welfare system, which ensures equal rights and access to public services for all. I believe firmly in equal rights for all resins and in our right to housing, health care, and well - ANYTHING we need, to be provided by our humans. RIGHT NOW. And if the USA had better health care with more reasonable costs there would be lots more money to spend on US!

Denmark also has a democratic government AND a Queen! Look at this:

The Queen's main tasks are to represent Denmark abroad and to be a figurehead at home. The Queen performs the latter task by accepting invitations to open exhibitions, attending anniversaries, inaugurating bridges etc. She is also an artist! (from http://www.kongehuset.dk/)

Now what could be better? One needs the opportunity to indulge in royal celebrations every so often, while still being able to vote.

And finally Denmark’s society is also characterized by gender equality. Although men tend to dominate women in much of the real world, in the doll world, females outnumber males a zillion to one. Except in resin reality where male dolls actually hold their own and in some places (like Japan) may be even more numerous than females.

So that is my take on Denmark: Resin heaven! I hope to be able to visit there someday!
